Task Roles are an important part of effective collaboration, collaboration being different to cooperation

We can say that cooperation has pupils working on similar tasks, maybe helping each other out a little. Individuals take responsibility for the outcome. But collaboration combines their unique skills and strengths for a single task – for which they have shared responsibility.
