Books:

How Can I Remember All That
by Dr Tracy Packiam Alloway

How Can I Remember All That <br> by Dr Tracy Packiam Alloway Well structured and clearly written text. The voice of the child struggling with working memory is heard throughout in diary form. This acts to remind us how difficult classroom life can be for some children and how easily we can make it better for them with small changes.

Definitions of short term, long term and working memory are set out and techniques presented for improvement. The combination and curation of existing evidenced knowledge with tried and tested memory activities make this a useful book for all mainstream and SpEd teachers. For UK teachers this aligns well with the new (Sept 2019) evidenced-based Ofsted inspection framework which uses memory in its definition of learning.
