Got a wonderful brief from a school today – a small, specialist group of Year 9 learners for whom I’m facilitating a day on, “what we want to learn and how we want to learn it”. I can’t wait to co-construct this experience with them. They’ll go on to be learning ambassadors in their school.
I’m wondering though….surely this should be the norm rather than the fantastic exception. All learners of all ages should be asked what they want to learn and how….surely. It used to be like this? Yes?
