Whilst writing this month's online stuff (on questions) I'm struck by a handful of subtle yet significant differences between teaching styles; nuances that I observe daily in the professionals who ask me to learn with them....
When trained and trusted to educate children do we:
Stand in front of them (to explain and engage) or stand with them (as we discover together)?
Hold forth (with our set piece lessons) or send forth (our children into the 21stC)?
Activate or act?
Work or learn?
There's a staff meeting for you. Knock those around. Let me know what you come up with.
