Why Blog? When Blog?

I've been quiet here in my blog for a few weeks; partly extensive travelling and training, partly exploring Twitter and Facebook. What's emerging for me is a process for online communication that makes the best of the technology without chaining me to it.

1. Twitter - for moments of inspiration, mavernness and realtime feedback (I must tell them this; this is really good; we're learning very effectively; anyone got any ideas? Meet me in this bar at this time....)

2. Facebook - for slower time chat and information sharing (the new resources are out now; what do you think of...; what's your opinion on...)

3. This Blog - more of a memoir & travel journal; summaries of thoughts and big picture comments, educational thinking, challenging, rhetorical questions.

So I guess some realistic success criteria & targets are in order:

1. Twitter - at least once a day

2. Face book  - at least twice a week

3. Blog - at least once a month

Assessment next month.
