If I chose to use my life inspecting schools rather than facilitating their growth, I’d examine the following areas and standards therein:
Rights, Responsibilities, Relationships
Literacy: Information & Emotional
Skills for life & learning: leadership, managing change, thinking, creativity, problem solving, independence, communication, collaboration
Awareness: self, social, local, national, global
Systems for sustainability and spontaneity
I’d also expect to see and hear a great deal of fun, humour and I’d have a purple clipboard with a picture of Mr Potatohead on the back.
How do I apply to be in Ofsted? Anyone? Would they have me?
