What’s your leadership style? Are you a deckchair leader? (delegating the sandcastle building and watching the tides); are you a tank chair leader? (guns blazing and winning the war quickly); are you a sofa? (collaborating with the team) or maybe a three-headed sheep chair? (doing things just a little bit differently).
We all lead, we all have our styles, we can all grow into new styles. Study leadership by all means. But roll up your sleeves and get on and do it. It’s messy, it’s challenging, it’s exhilarating, but overall our children need us to be good leaders of their learning. They deserve it.
